In honor of Route 66 Centennial Anniversary, Ride The Clover’s host town will be Stroud, Oklahoma! The town, located on the heart of Route 66 between Oklahoma City and Tulsa, is proud to be our home town base.

Get ready for an amazing few days exploring the town of Stroud. Walk through historic downtown. Enjoy the local shops and eateries! Grab your swimsuit for a dip in the pool! Pull out the lawn chair, the town is hosting movie night for riders. Need extra activities for the family? Make your way down to the pond for a few hours of fishing. Grab a frisbee for disc golf. Don’t forget the amazing parks for the kiddos! Most importantly, get ready to hoot & holler at Summer Fest 2026 celebrating Stroud’s 100 years on Route 66! Roll back into town to discover music, car shows, vendors, food trucks, kid’s activities, Wine/Beer/Distillery tasting followed up with fireworks! Still need more to do? Hop on your bike and take a night ride through town discovering vintage neon signs on Route 66.

THE LODGING

Pull out your tent. Grab your cot! We have fantastic camping facilities, both indoor and outdoor, located by Stroud High School and the fabulous Colosseum Center. All the creature comforts of home….indoor plumbing with showers..necessary for great camping! Camping facilities located close to the center of town! Walk or ride your bike to the town festivities, restaurants and shopping! Camping not your style, check out Stroud’s local hotels & vintage motels!

THE EXPERIENCE

Each year, we map a new route that showcases Oklahoma's diverse landscapes - from rolling prairies and farmland to wooded hills and scenic rivers. Along the way, riders experience the warmth and hospitality of small-town Oklahoma, with communities opening their doors to welcome cyclists.

Ride the Clover welcomes cyclists of all abilities. Whether you're a seasoned century rider or someone who's never done a multi-day tour, there's a place for you. Our daily distances are designed to be inclusive, and SAG support is always available for those who need it. E-bikes are welcome! This is not a Race …it’s an experience!

OUR STORY

From the team that brought you Oklahoma Freewheel. Freewheel has always been about community, endurance and shared paths. In 2026, we are honoring that spirit in a new way - by riding the same roads together, returning each night to the same place. In honor of this new experience, we welcome Ride The Clover, a four day cycling event that takes riders around the beautiful state of Oklahoma!
